Senior Men
There was double delight for both senior men’s teams at Tir Chonaill Park in Donegal Town on Sunday against Four Masters. The senior men took a 0-13 to 0-10 victory with Enda McCormick contributing 0-6. Steve McElwaine hit 0-3 while Patrick Fegan, Jamie Grant, Mark Gallagher and Ryan McFadden also got on the scoresheet. They will now go in search of a fourth win of the Division 2 campaign on Saturday against Cloughaneely at the Burn Road.
The reserves started the day by leading the way, taking the win in the opening game. Jamie Gallagher’s side were 2-9 to 1-7 victories. John James Sweeney scored 0-4, Caolan Curran 1-1, Oisin Harkin 1-2, Jack O’Neill and Paul Mallon 0-1 each.
County Players
Well done to Ciaran Conaghan and Fionn Mc Grenra who played for Donegal U16’s against Tyrone at the weekend.
Cayla McFadden also lined out for the ladies U16’s in their championship win over Fermanagh.
Ladies Board
U14’s had their first outing of the season in the Fiona Doherty Memorial Tournament, organised by Letterkenny Gaels. They played Gaels, but unfortunately we’re unlucky on the day, next up is a trip to Glenfin on Saturday.
The underage teams are all out and training each week, all age groups are welcoming new players, please contact either the Facebook page or any club member.
The senior ladies are looking forward to the May Bank Holiday weekend, with a trip to Cloughaneely to take on Naomh Conall in the county Gaeltacht final.
