Congratulations to the senior ladies on winning the title at the Comórtas Peile Na Gaeltachta on Bank Holiday Monday, beating Glenfin 0-11 to 0-9 in the final. Geraldine McLaughlin scored 0-6 with Roisin McCafferty, Niamh Bonner, Ciara McGarvey and Jodie McFadden also getting on the scoresheet.
The men played in a senior county Comórtas Peile Na Gaeltachta semi final for the first time since 2006 last weekend. Trevor Alcorn’s side put in a battling performance against the competition favourites and eventual winners Naomh Conaill. Mark Gallagher, Cian McMenamin and Bobby McGettigan scored the goals in what was a first defeat of the year for the team. Full time score 1-17 to 3-5.
It wasn’t to be for the junior ladies who lost out to Kilcar in Friday evenings Gaeltacht final.
Congratulations to Niamh Bonner who was selected on the Future Stars Ladies Football team for 2023 and also well done to Cayla McFadden and Kate McCafferty who won an Ulster competition with Donegal last weekend.

Our charity bingo returns on the 5th May with Kernans and Gracies Stores. Last year the club raised just over €16,000 for the Relay For Life Donegal and Irish Cancer Society.This year we have added 2 new charities BUMBLEance Children’s National Ambulance Service and Cairde le Cheile.
