On the worldwide stage, CLG An Tearmainn members Geraldine and Nicole McLaughlin are flying the Termon flag in the USA. The sisters are part of the LGFA All Star teams that are playing in Austin, Texas and no doubt are having a great time on and off the pitch stateside. In mentioning All Stars, the club also acknowledges Evelyn McGinley who was a winner last year but didn’t make the trip with the teams.

On the county scene, Cian McMenamin started for the Donegal U20”s in their championship defeat to Derry last weekend. Cian only stepped up from minor last year and will have several more seasons at this level, as will Cormac Gallagher who was part of the squad this campaign.
The senior men showed exceptional character on Easter Sunday against Four Masters coming from ten points down in the first half to win by two as it ended 2-14 (20) to 3-9 (18).
Daire McDaid scored an impressive 2-7 to bring his tally to 4-9 in a seven day two game period.
It’s now back to back wins for Trevor Alcorn’s side at the start of their Division Two campaign and they haven’t lost a competitive game since the start of the year.
Next up is Letterkenny Gaels next Sunday 3pm back at the Burn Road.

The Termon reserves secured a hard fought win coming from behind by one point at halftime. The deficit could have been bigger but for an excellent save from Thomas Cannon from a penalty. A Patrick McDaid goal in the second half along with an outstanding defensive effort gave the team an eight point victory.
In an excellent team performance, best for Termon were Thomas Cannon, Cormac Brady, Gary McGettigan and Jamie Gallagher who rolled back the years with four points from play from midfield. The reserves also have Letterkenny Gaels next week at home.

On Easter Sunday, the Termon junior ladies and St. Micheals played at the Burn Road Termon.
The match saw both teams putting up a great fight, with St Michael’s emerging victorious in the end.
On Good Friday, the senior ladies were on the road at Ardara.
The first half of the game saw Ardara struggle to keep up with Termon’s strong offense. The score at halftime was Ardara 0-3 to Termon’s 1-11.
Ciara Mc Garvey scoring an impressive 1-07 in that period with Sophie Curran, Maeve Brady, and Rosin Friel contributing with points.
In the second half, Termon continued to dominate the game with impressive goals from Roisin Mc Cafferty and Ciara Mc Garvey. Ardara tried to make a comeback, but Termon’s defense remained strong, and they managed to secure a well-deserved victory on a final score of Ardara 0-3 to Termon 3-14.
Clg An Tearmainn LGFA U16 had an impressive game against Clg Carndonagh. Despite facing the challenging conditions of playing against the wind, Termon were able to maintain their strong performance throughout the match. Termon team:

The minor men had a nine point win on Monday in Ballybofey beating MacCumhaills 6-6(24) to1-12(15).
Ciaran Cassidy, Caolan Curran, Eamonn Diver, James Olson and Ciaran Connaghan bagged the goals in a hard working performance while Odhran Gallagher kicked four points. Another great win for the side 👏.
The young boys and girls of the parish enjoyed the Fundamentals over Easter weekend as the Easter Bunny made an appearance at the various venue’s in the area used for the underage.
