Club Meeting

The March Club Meeting will be held this Wednesday 13th March 2024 in the Craoibhin, Termon, @ 8pm. All members are welcome to attend to hear what’s happening in the club.

St Patrick’s Day Parade

The CLG An Tearmainn Minor Board have been kindly asked to take part in this year’s St Patricks Day Parade in Letterkenny.  All our underage boys and girls are welcome to participate. It starts at 3pm and everyone is asked to wear club colours /jerseys/hats/flags/face paints etc. Parents are welcome to walk the route also. Meeting at Mr Chippie at 2.45pm this Sunday.

Senior Ladies

The senior ladies hosted Ardara at the Burn Road on Sunday morning last, in the opening game of the Comortas Peile na Gaeltachta competition. It was great to see some young girls make their debuts for the senior team, and give good accounts of themselves on the day. Termon won comfortably, with goals coming from Ciara McGarvey, Niamh Boner, Maeve Brady and Lauren Gallagher. All the girls played well, including Sophie Curran.

Senior Men

The senior men host Kilcar this Saturday 16th March in their latest Gaeltacht fixture, throw in 3pm. The winner will progress through to the Donegal finals weekend in Cloughaneely. The reserve men will also be at home for their Junior Gaeltacht fixture will Milford. The game starts at 11am St Patrick’s Day Sunday 17th March.

Thirds

The club are hoping to field a third men’s team again this year. Anyone that has played gaelic football in the past and are interested in finding out more, contact 086 6082512.

Healthy Club Initiative

Termon will be participating in the Irish life Healthy Club Initiative.  This programme empowers GAA clubs to become hubs for health promotion addressing areas such as physical activity, mental fitness, community development, diversity and inclusion, substance use and healthy eating. There will be lots of activities to come in this first stage which takes 18 months to complete. Thanks to Ellen Callaghan and Shirley McCarron for travelling to Croke Park and representing the club at the first event.

Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others

A G4M&O players meeting is planned for Fri 15th March in the Lagoon @ 7.30pm. Anyone wishing to join up is more than welcome to come and we are looking forward to seeing all our returning players also in the coming weeks. Membership

Club membership is now open for 2024. The link is available on the club website and social media channels. Its important to remind all players that they need to be registered so they are covered under the GAA to train and play. 

Lotto

Lotto Results 10/3/2024 – No’s drawn  6,  18,  23,  24. There was no winner of the €7450 Jackpot. John Harkin was the Match 3 winner of  €80. Annie Ferry and John McDaid won €10 euro in the Lucky Dip. Next week’s Jackpot €7500 

Club 300

Congratulations to this months winners and thank you all for supporting our clubhouse development.

Bingo

Bingo this Friday continues at An Craoibhin, €4500 in prizes. Houses on game 7 and game 8 will be €1000 each  Minimum payout on the night will be €4500. At the hall there is electric car charging. Free bonus game at the end of normal bingo. For online players, books on sale via Termon Bingo Facebook page. Books will also be available as normal in Gracies Stores.
