The club would like to remind our members the countdown is on to the club’s 60th Anniversary Dinner Dance. To mark the occasion and the success of our teams this year on the pitch, a night of celebration will take place on Saturday 25th November in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny. Dinner, presentations and entertainment by the Cavanagh Brothers. Our special guest will be the President elect of the GAA Jarlath Burns. Tickets are priced €45 and on sale now at Gracies Stores or by contacting the club PRO.

The Annual General Meeting of CLG AnTearmainn will take place on Sunday 3rd December. Club members are invited to submit nominations for the various Club Officer positions and Motions to the secretary by 6pm on 19 November 2023. Only valid Nominations for the positions listed on the Nominations Form which are received by the above date, will be submitted to the AGM. Further information on the various positions to be filled can be obtained by contacting the Club Secretary or any Club Officer. All Club Members are invited to attend. Hard luck to our U18 men who lost out in the Division 1 semi final last Friday in Convoy after extra time where it finished Naomh Conaill 3-10 Termon 3-8. Ciaran Cassidy, Cian McMenamin (penalty) and Ciaran Conaghan scored the three goals while points came from Emmett McGettigan, John James Sweeney (0-2), Cian McMenamin (1-2),Gary McGettigan (0-2) and Oran Gallagher.

In this weeks games, the U21 men are in action against Glenswilly on Saturday and the U23 ladies play St Eunans on Sunday.

Congratulations to Nathan McElwaine and Eimear Alcorn who were part of the British Championship winning Tir Chonaill Gaels side last weekend that won the title for the first time in the club’s history. Nathan was manager and Eimear was one of seven players from the county in the squad. They beat Dunedin Connolly’s 1-9 to 1-6.

Good luck to our ladies manager Adrian McGettigan who has been nominated for a Donegal LGFA Club Volunteer Award. The event takes place this Friday in Ballybofey.

The latest on the development of the clubhouse now sees the building fully sealed for the winter with plastering almost complete and scaffolding removed. Thanks to the many volunteers who have given up their precious time to help with the work ensuring it remains on track for opening in the summer of 2024.

This weeks Lotto Results 5/11/2023. No’s drawn   4  5  9  26. There was no winner of the €6550 Jackpot.  Match 3  winner  of €80  was Fiona Gallagher. There were two Lucky Dip winners  of €10 each – Chloe Callaghan and Bridie Kelly. Next week’s Jackpot is €6600.

Bingo this Friday at An Craoibhin, Houses on game 7 and game 8 will be €1000 each  Minimum payout on the night will be €3700. At the hall there is free electric car charging.
