The Termon Reserve men have written themselves into the club history books after lifting the Donegal Intermediate B Championship title on Sunday. They had a comprehensive 1-12 to 0-4 win over Naomh Columba at the O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny. The side sealed a league and championship double this year, a rare success (possibly a first) for a Termon men’s side. Congratulations to Hugh Harkin, the management and the players on a wonderful season, winning 20 of their 22 games. Paul Mallon starred last weekend kicking 0-7 in the final while Mark Gallagher scored the goal (1-01) and Eoghan Quinn, Jamie Gallagher, Steve McDaid and Eoin Doherty all chipped in with points.
Good luck to our senior ladies as they start their Ulster Championship campaign on Sunday. This season’s league and championship double winners will play Errigal Ciaran at 2pm in Ballygawley.
Congratulations to our players Eimear Alcorn and Nathan McElwaine who were involved with the Tir Chonaill Gaels Ladies that beat Round Towers in the London Intermediate Championship Final at McGovern Park, Ruislip on Sunday.
Thanks to everyone who came along to the club’s 50th celebrations of the 1973 Donegal Junior Champions, the first title for the club. A special thanks to Hughie McDaid and James Trearty for their work in organising the event as the club marked a memorable occasion.
The club will also hold celebrations for the 60th anniversary and celebrate this season’s performances on Saturday 25th November 2023. A special night will take place in the Mount Errigal Hotel with a meal, entertainment and a special guest. Ticket details on our social channels.
