Best wishes to our senior ladies this weekend who chase a third trophy of the year. They play old rivals Glenfin in the Donegal LGFA Senior Championship Final on Sunday at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.

Also good luck to our minor ladies in the divisional semi final on Tuesday evening against Buncrana.

The Termon senior men sides continue to flourish in the championship, with both teams winning their respective Intermediate quarter finals last weekend.

On Saturday in Killygordan, two Bobby McGettigan goals proved to be the difference in the 2-10 to 0-11 victory over Naomh Columba. Daire McDaid chipped in with 0-4 and Enda McCormick kicked 0-3. Cian McMenamin and Steve McElwaine also scored as Caolan McDaid’s  men booked a semi final spot against Downings this weekend. Termon team – Darragh Russell; Nathan McElwaine, Cormac Gallagher, Conor Cassidy;
Caolan Gallagher, Ricky Gallagher, Cian McMenamin; Jack Alcorn, Ryan McFadden; Aaron Reid, Bobby McGettigan, Enda McCormick; Anthony Grant  Daire McDaid, Steve McElwaine. Subs: Oisin Harkin, Patrick Fegan and Kevin McGettigan.

A strong second-quarter performance, saw the Termon reserves advance to the county Intermediate B Championship semi-final thanks to a 4-12 to 0-9 win over Red Hughs in Letterkenny. A Mark Gallagher goal, along with points from Paul Mallon, Jamie Gallagher and Eoin Doherty gave Termon a 1-8 to 4 point lead at half time. The excellent Gareth Gallagher also scored a brilliant goal while Evan Keown, John McCafferty, Kieran Black and Caolan Reid helped steer the team home. Paul Mallons and Gary McGettigan scored the other Termon goals. Hugh Harkin’s men next face Burt, the only team in the competition with a 100% record.

Well done to our senior C team who have qualified for their championship semi final after the group stages were completed last week. Victories over Glenfin and Malin and a draw with Glenswilly secured our lads top spot in the group and qualification for the semi final where there opponents will be known after next weekends quarter finals.
