CLG AnTearmainn will host a special evening this Saturday 14th October as the club marks the 50th anniversary of the first every championship win. The first piece of silverware came to the club in 1973 in the form of Donegal Junior Championship winners. A night of memories, stories and craic will take place in the Lagoon. It’s an evening not to be missed and is open to all club members, all in the parish and friends and family of those who took the Termon side to success half a century ago. Throw In on Saturday 14th October is 7.30pm at The Lagoon.
It’s a very exciting week for our senior reserve men who play in the Intermediate B Final against Naomh Columba on Sunday in The O’Donnell Park Letterkenny at 2.30pm. It’s the club’s first appearance in the final since 1998 when they beat Naomh Ultan. Current Manager Hugh Harkin and Captain Jamie Gallagher were on the bench that day. This years group are just one game away from a league and championship double. Best wishes to the players and management from everyone in the parish. All support will be welcome on Sunday in Letterkenny.
Hard luck to our senior c side who lost in the championship semi final on Saturday at the hands of Pettigo. Great effort from the players and management this year.
